I make things. I enjoy traditional hand textile processes, but also drawing and outmoded technologies. I have issues with anxiety and it is often the impetus for my work. I love nostalgia, the kitschy, quirky, tacky, and awkward. In 2011, I graduated from the Alberta College of Art and Design with a BFA in Fibre(with distinction), and am currently attending my first year of University of Manitoba’s Master of Fine Arts program. I have exhibited in the Marion Nicoll Gallery’s +15 window space, in a collaborative show with Melissa Wong at Untitled Art Society’s Satellite Gallery, and Arthouse Co-op’s Sketchbook project.
I’m originally from Golden, British Columbia, but just moved from Calgary, Alberta, to Winnipeg, Manitoba.
